Growth and Characterization of KTiOPO4 Single Crystals by KPb2(PO3)5.2K2O flux
Abstract
In this research,high-quality KTiOPO4 (KTP) crystals were grown by a spontaneous nucleation method using KPb2(PO3)5.2K2O as a flux. The volatility and solubility and viscosity of KPb2(PO3)5.2K2O was measured and the values associated with K6P4O13 flux than was most famous flux for the growth of KTP crystals, were compared. With X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), visible light spectroscopy (UV-VIS) and chemical analysis (ICP) high-quality crystals grown by KPb2(PO3)5.2K2O flux confirmed.
