Growth and Characterization of KTiOPO4 Single Crystals by KPb2(PO3)5.2K2O flux

Abstract

In this research,high-quality KTiOPO4 (KTP) crystals were grown by a spontaneous nucleation method using KPb2(PO3)5.2K2O as a flux. The volatility and solubility and viscosity of KPb2(PO3)5.2K2O was measured and the values ​​associated with K6P4O13 flux than was most famous flux for the growth of KTP crystals, were compared. With X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), visible light spectroscopy (UV-VIS) and chemical analysis (ICP) high-quality crystals grown by KPb2(PO3)5.2K2O flux confirmed.
